Leila Tarokh, PhD

 

Leila received her PhD from the Department of Cognitive Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.  She is currently a group leader and senior scientist at the University Hospital for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University of Bern in Switzerland.  She is also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University in the United States.

Christoph Hamann, MD

Former Postdoctoral Fellow

Christoph received his MD from the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany in 2011.  He is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and currently completing his residency at the University Hospital for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Bern, Switzerland. 

 
 

Thomas Rusterholz, PhD

Former Postdoctoral Fellow

Thomas received his PhD from the University of Zurich in Switzerland in 2011.  He subsequently completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  Thomas specialises in signal processing of the sleep and waking EEG.

 

 

Andjela Markovic, MSc.

PhD Student

Andjela received her Bachelors in Computer Science from the ETH Zurich in 2013, her Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the ETH Zurich in 2015 and her Piano Teaching Diploma from the Swiss Academy of Music and Music Pedagogy in 2013. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program in the department of Health Sciences at the University of Bern and working as a piano teacher at the Youth Music School in Winterthur.

 

 

Tammy Timmers, BSc

Former Research Assistant

Tammy received her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Bern in 2016.  She is currently enrolled in Masters program in the Psychology department at the University of Bern.

 

 

 

Nath Margot, BSc

Former Research Assistant

Nath received her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Bern in 2014.  She is currently enrolled in Masters program in the Psychology department at the University of Bern.
